For Dia Schwarz, this question was not theoretical — it was lived.

But the biological reality is different: chronic stress keeps the body in survival mode. And in survival, the body does not prioritize reproduction. The nervous system and reproductive system are deeply connected — and fertility depends on safety, not pressure,” she says.
